Monday 12^th:

We manged to set off approximately on time and headed for Fishguard.  My attempt to avoid a lot of motorway/trunk road driving was not very successful but had the plus was we found a great village pub called Plash Inn in Llanfalltegh and ate very good barbeque spare ribs – great value. Recommend it if you can find it and actually ask directions using the place name.  From the pub stop it was a short hop to the ferry port.  Crossing was calm but in spite of plenty of space to lie out difficult to sleep as it was chilly with the air conditioning turned up.
